October is Principal Appreciation Month, and Vernon ISD is spotlighting all six of the principals in our district.
Katrina Price is in the 26th year of her career in education. She was a teacher/coach at Harrold ISD before joining Vernon ISD in a similar position.
She served as the principal at McCord Elementary during the 2022-23 school year, and was named the principal at Vernon Middle School about a month before the start of this school year.
Price's favorite thing in the world is learning new things, and she became a teacher to help students foster that same love for learning. Her favorite thing as a principal is seeing students grow and develop into strong leaders in our community.
